“Assalamu Alaikum everyone, especially to the sisters, welcome to my channel. My name is Zainab Halifa Sani and I want to spread knowledge that will protect us all. A life of ignorance is an elevator to eternal damnation. Education is the key, the only key, to enlightenment. Forgive me and be patient if I become emotional. You will understand my feelings as you listen to my story.
“My friend Humaira heard it from her uncle, who heard it from his best friend – a man bestowed with great knowledge. Now listen carefully, if a man passes away, while his daughters are unmarried and they are of age, he will be punished in the grave until the day they all get married. My father is late, so you must understand the feverish fear that cut me open. I am unmarried; my two sisters are teenagers – they are excluded. It falls on me to protect my father.
“I hope you are still here with me. There is hope for you, for all of us. Don’t waste time on lists and preferences. My aim is to continue posting advisory videos so you can avoid my grave errors. I will not back down, despite the comments insulting me. I will not back down from preaching the truth.

Podcast Host: Welcome to Iqra’ & Reflect! Today we are here with one of the most interesting people in the country right now. Welcome Zainab Halifa Sani! Good to have you hear with us today.
Zainab: Thank you for your generous invitation.
Podcast Host: You are quite controversial, aren’t you? But popular! Your videos have been watched by over five million people. How does that make you feel?
Zainab: Humbled. Very humbled, Alhamdulillah. But you see, this is why I will not relent. Controversial or not, the truth must be told.
Podcast Host: I love that, “Controversial or not, the truth must be told.” Did you come up with that yourself?
Zainab: Yes. Alhamdulillah.
Podcast Host: Masha Allah. So, I must admit that I was startled with your videos, because I lost my father when I was 12. May Allah have mercy on him.
Zainab: Ameen. May Allah have mercy on all our lost loved ones.
Podcast Host: Ameen. Ameen. Like I mentioned, I was startled, and I cried that night out of fear. I am still unmarried, I -
Zainab: SubhanAllah sister, what are you doing to remedy the situation? I have gotten many proposals since I started my videos and Alhamdullilah, I have chosen one. Do you want me to set you up?
Podcast Host: (Laughs) no, no. Well, show me pictures first (laughs).
Zainab: (Looks annoyed)
Podcast Host: (Clears throat) Let’s continue, shall we? So, the next morning, I opened my Qur’an, and I spent the entire day, and night reading it and listening to Tafseers.
Zainab: Masha Allah, because of me? Masha Allah.
Podcast Host: Yes, but sister Zainab, I have not come across this verse that you’ve mentioned.
Zainab: Things get lost with English translations.
Podcast Host: I can read and understand Classical Arabic.
Zainab: And you still haven’t seen it? Perhaps, you are suffering from shaitan’s whisperings?
Podcast Host: (Brings out the Qur’an) Why don’t you show me the verse?
Zainab: (Shakes her head and laughs) Ah…
Podcast Host: Millions of people will benefit if you’re able to show me the verse.
Zainab: Ah, you see. It was my friend, Humaira, who heard it from her uncle, who heard it from his best friend – a man bestowed with great knowledge.
Podcast Host: You have not seen this verse yourself?
Zainab: I will ask Humaira, to ask her uncle, so he can ask his best friend to share the exact verse, and I will share it with the world. In Sha Allah.
Podcast Host: You have not seen, with your own two eyes, a verse you have repeated in all your videos?
Zainab: I trust Humaira with my life. And she trusts her uncle with her life. And her uncle trusts his best friend with his life. It is true. The verse is true.
Podcast Host: Sister Zainab, this is wrong.
Zainab: (Stands up) What do you mean?
Podcast Host: Why don’t you call Humaira, so she can call her uncle, so he can call his best friend, so we will know where this verse is hiding.
Zainab: (Brings out her phone, dials and starts talking to Humaira)
Podcast Host: To my patient listeners, thank you for staying with us.
Zainab: (Drops her phone on the table)
Podcast Host: Have you identified the verse, Sister Zainab? We can wait for Humaira to call back. We will wait all day if you wish.
Zainab: (Looks at the door)
Podcast Host: Is there a problem sister?
Zainab: (Leans in and whispers) I need to use the bathroom.
Podcast Host: (Leads Zainab to the door, opens it)
Zainab: (Kicks the Podcast Host, and runs out of the house)
After 10 mins.
Podcast Host: My dear listeners, Sister Zainab has bolted. Like the name of the podcast says: Iqra’ and Reflect by yourself to avoid quacks like her. Jazakallaahu Khair for tuning in and see you next week In Sha Allah. Don’t forget to Iqra’ and Reflect!
